The Great Escape Paperback
Crest Book Second Crest Printing 1963
Written by Paul Brickhill
The writer of this book, Paul Brickhill, was a fighter pilot in WWII. He was shot down 3/17/1943. Captured by the Nazis’ he became a prisoner of war. While imprisoned in Germany he wrote down his experiences on small scraps of paper he hid from the guards. Those scraps eventually inspired this book after the war ended. Amazing!
Super rare in this great of shape! Red edges! In great crisp unread condition, minor shelf wear, slight discoloration from age on the inside cover.
